Heinrich Diehl born approx. 1790's. Owned a ten-acre farm five miles from the tiny village of Tiefenbach, now called Oberstorf, in Bavaria - in the Rhine Valley near the Austrian Border. Married (M.) a woman with the last name of Drumm?
They had Jacob #1, 1821-1906 M. Isabella Rice, 1832-1877;
Henry, 1822-?(Ontario, Canada)may have changed name to Drumm;
Valentine (Ontario, Canada), 1823-1906 M. Catherine Albrecht;
Margaret (Ontario, Canada), M. a Crawford;
Magdalena 1825-1907 M. Jacob Wolf (Woolfe?) von Earlbohm(Ontario, Canada);
John who emigrated to the USA (Boston?);
George, 1829-? M. a Dutch girl - Auntie Metz? second M. to Mary Niven;
Catherine M. a Stein - stayed in Bavaria.
We know that Jacob #1emigrated to Ontario (1849) via the States (Boston, 1846), met and married Isabella Rice and had the following children:
Jacob #2, 1854-1895 M. Caroline Greenwood, 1857-1918;
George, 1855-1894 (Alberta, Canada?);
Mary Ann, 1856-1907 M. a Peck;
Charles, 1857-1935 went to Manitoba, Canada?;
John, 1859-1929;
Margaret, 1861-1951 M. a McClymont (Ontario, Canada?);
Henry, 1863-1943;
Louis, 1865-1949;
(Valentine)Michael, 1866-1941;
Augusta, 1866-1868.
