Hi Jerry,

Howerter's is now St James Lutheran Church in Pitman, Eldred Twp, Schuylkill County. It was also known as Jacob's Church. The cemetery is located between Pitman and Klingerstown (I think). Since I posted that message I have determine that Michael's parents were Johannes and Catherine Diehl and that Michael was baptized at Longswamp Reformed Church, Longswamp Twp, Berks County. His family moved into the Northumberland/Schuylkill County area before 1813 when he married Sara Schollenberger. Do you know anything about this Michael and his family? Thanks, Jennifer
