See the 1870 US Census for Kansas for John and Abby DEIHL and their other children. Living with them is John's brother EDWARD, both DEIHLs born Ohio. Abby b. NY. Their children were born in Iowa.....
In the 1860 US Census for Dover Twp, Tuscarora Co., Ohio a John and Edward DIEHL of the correct ages are living with their parents, Joseph and Elizabeth Diehl, both born in PA. Good luck tracing them back to PA.

Be sure to do multiple searches of the US Census. The Ancestry search engine does not do a good job of pulling up alternate spellings. Be sure to do separate searches on Diehl, Deihl, Deal.
