I don't think that this is the family I was looking for. I was hoping to find an Adam Deel b. 3 Mar 1780. He is my 4th gr.grandfather. All I know about him other than he lived in Marion, Ohio from about 1810 until he died there on 8 Sept 1848, was that he was born in Pennsylvania and may have been a Quaker.
Thank you for the tip on the book "PA BIRTH YORK CO. 1730-1800". I will get that from my local library and see if I can find him.
