Looking for descendants of Joh. SAMUEL DIEHL (b. 1814, s/o John George Diehl and Elisabeth KRAUSHAAR) and wife SUSAN LENHART (m. 1838). Known children: Elmira (1840 - 1841),William Rush (b. 1843), George Dallas (b. 1845), Sara Jane (b. 1849), Elisabeth Ann (b. abt 1853), Samuel Merchant (b. 1854). Family moved from WESTMORELAND CO, PA after May, 1854, residing in IOWA about 1855, possibly with J. Samuel's sister, Sara (b. 1817) and husband Christian BAUGHMAN(m. 1835) and children: Cornilla (b. 1839) and Elisabeth Ann B. (b. 1841). All children listed born in Westmoreland Co., PA
