According to Harry A. DIEHL's 1989 book on the York Co., Pa. families, Hans Adam's ahnentafel is probably as follows:

1 Johann Adam DIEHL "Hans Adam". Born on 9 Dec 1690 in Undencappeln, Lk. Kusel, Pfalz. Died in Apr 1755 in York Co., Pa. Occupation: Farmer, built Diehl Mill in Spring Garden Twp., 1740.

On 12 Apr 1712 when Johann Adam was 21, he married Maria Catherine KREISHER, in Undencappeln, Lk. Kusel, Pfalz.

2 Hans Georg DIEHL. Born in Undencappeln, Lk. Kusel, Pfalz.

On 20 Jan 1680 Hans Georg married Anna Catharina HERTZ.

3 Anna Catharina HERTZ. Born in Schweinschied, Pfalz.

4 Melchior DIEHL. Born ca 1633. Died on 1 Sep 1677 in Undencappeln, Lk. Kusel, Pfalz.

Melchior married Eva.

5 Eva.

6 Peter HERTZ.
