The information I have found is that Maria Catharina was born in Homberg, Germany. Her parents were John Daniel Kreischer & Anna Catharina Esch. They were married 18 November 1687 in Kusel, Palatinate, Germany (LDS #16R9-3GG). His father is George Kreischer & hers Abraham Esch. Feel free to contact me for the sources. Hope this helps. I'd like to know about that book, too.
