Looking for a James Dickson who married Mary Stirling at Cranston and Inveresk 9th may 1838 and 5th May 1838. Mary stirling Christend 10 aug 1816 Stow midlothian scotland died 13 Feb 1890 Elphinstone village east lothian. Trying to find James birth. There are number of candidates. But cant be sure on any of them. I wondered if anyone had a James in their tree that would fit. James died 10 May 1858 Elphinstone. James on 1851 census in Newbigging as 44 year old. which would if correct make his birth around 1806/07.
1841 has him in East Vennel, Inveresk as 30 years of age Therefore making a birth year of 1810/11.
