Seeking info on Capt. J.D. Dickson (James Davis Dickson b. 1862 d.1933.) Born in Montgomery County, AL in 1862, a student at Howard College in Marion in 1880, principal of Alexander City High School in 1887 and later 1st Editor of the Alexander City Outlook, the city's newspaper, in 1891-93.

He was a son of David Madison Dickson and Mary Ann Goss, both originally from Georgia, later settling in Pine Level, Montogmery County, Alabama, where Capt. J.D. Dickson was born and raised. He was a journalist and writer, with articles published in newspapers and magazines.
