Bonnie, this Josephine Antonette is what most people on the net have as information. That doesn't necessarily mean that it is true, but it does give people somewhere to look. I admit it maybe should have been put down as ALLEGED, and that would make the searchers continue to look for a mother for Josiah. How can anyone be absolutely sure that her name was not Josephine Antonette? They can't, but when it is disputed you can always correct them, until that time we have to work with what we have. Unfortunely some facts are not always true. My advise to you is to keep trying and see if you can help all we people who are looking for the same person.
