Charles Hebrum DICKSON emigrated from Smeaton Scotland to Victoria Australia on the ship Rowena to work on the Ballarat goldfields in the 1850s. He married in Victoria Australia to Mary Griffiths, who was from Glasgow Scotland. They had many children - including my grandfather George Cowan DICKSON who married Ada May Brown - whose family was from Tasmania. George Cowan Dickson and Ada May nee BROWN also had a large family as well. Any descendants of either George Cowan Dickson or Charles Hebrum Dickson are most welcome to contact me.
