Hello John, this is a stab in the dark, but since your family comes from Dumphrishire, Scotland I thought it may be a chance the family (my husband's Dicksons)I am looking for may be connected. My husband is a direct decendent of Josiah Dickson and Isabella Reid. Now I have his parents as PETER DICKSON b.abt 1726 in Sanquhar, Dumfrieshire, Scotland and JOSEPHINE ANTONETTE b. abt 1730 also from Sanquhar, these are the actual people I am looking for more information on. I can't seem to get back any farther than them. Are the names in any of your files? I would greatly appreciate any help you can give me. Any suggestions or whatever advise you may have.
