I am researching the family of Emma L. Darby (b.May 1896 OK) who married Leon Dickson.
Emma was a daughter of William C. Darby and Ella J. (Monroe) Darby. William and Ella had four children:
(1) Letha May
(2) Ethel Ruby
(3) Emma L.
(4) Euguene 'Gene' C. Darby
Ethel Ruby and Gene became vaudeville performers in the 1910s, 1920s, 1930s. Letha May married a Herbert Fullerton and lived her life out in southern KS.
Emma L. Darby married a Leon Dickson and hte last I can find of is that they lived in the Dallas, TX area and died sometime after 1951.
Would like to make contact with anyone who can shed some light on this family. I have checked the death index online, ssdi, LDS online, and a few other places - all to no avail.
I am endeavoring to dtermine when/where Emma and Leon died; where buried? did they have children?
