I have just recently found a connection to the DICKSON's of Mason County and also Lewis County Kentucky. I am trying to find information on William and Sarah DICKSON who had a daughter named Malissa.
Malissa had a child by the name of Sarah Goodman, I don't think she married the Goodman. She then married James LANE also of Mason and Lewis Counties.
James and Malissa LANE had the following children:
John N. Lane
George J Lane
Alice Lane
Kepner Ann Lane
Malissa Dickson Lane's parents were William and Sarah Dickson
On the 1860 Mason County, Maysville East I find the following:
William Dickson 45 KY
Sarah 44
Melissa 19
Susan 11
George J 6
LANE, John 24 Boatman
Sarah Lane 16
Clara 11/12
Dickson, William 21 Day labor
Isaac N. Goodman 24 Day Labor Pennsylvania
Any help would be more than appreciated.
