Can anyone help me? I have a James D. Dickson/Dixon b. abt
18o6-1810 married Elizabeth ? Died around 1836-37. Son
James Harrison born after or around time of his death in Montgomery Co. Stewart Co. Tn. Elizabeth remarried a Merritt Padgett 8/16/1838 in Stewart Co. She had 3 other children. James Harrison served in the war during 1861 and 1865. He married Martha Jane Elizabeth Needham in 1861, in Union Co. Illinois. In a former marriage, he had two daughters by Mary (Polly) Self. He is my Paternal GGrandfather. I need to have some record of the ancesters of James D. Dickson/Dixon and where the locality he came from to join the line. Help Me Please!
