I don't have a Chas. William Dickson in my info. My George W. Dickson was born in 1811 in NC, and he's the earliest of my Dickson ancestors I can find. He supposedly ran away from home at age 12 or 14 and ended up in Jefferson County, GA, probably around 1825.
