David DICKSON's will, dated 5 Jun 1808 & proved 7 Nov 1808 in Jackson Co., GA, was witnessed by Alexander & Sarah GILLESPIE. Named as executors were "Nephew David DICKSON" & Elijah COWAN. Alex. & Sarah are my 5G grandparents. Can someone shed some light on the DICKSONs? Was the 'nephew' named executor Gen. David DICKSON [b. 1750, d. 1830] of Rev. War in SC and GA Militia who married Annie Allen SMITH in Jackson Co. in 1800?
