Josiah Dickson and Isabel Read

Through the great kindness of others, I have come into possession of the original first copy of the famous letter from John Dickson to his niece, Harriet Powers, about the life of Josiah. It was copied by Jean Wiseman around 1915 and is bound in leather with gold lettering. I also have several photos of the Dicksons, some identified, most not. The identified ones are of Nelson Dickson, Dr. James B. Warren (Columbia, MO), William Dickson Wiseman, and Shelley Wiseman (Josiah/William/Lucy Lee/Shelley). There are three letters, two from Judge O. M. Welborn of Princeton, Indiana to "his darling little boy" and one from Lucy Lee (Dickson) Wiseman. There are also miscellaneous DAR papers. I will share what I can easily copy (fragile).
Please let me know of any interest in attending the DAR marking of Josiah's grave when it is approved.
Cassie
