My name is Deborah Thurman Parks and I am primarily a Thurman surname researcher. I noticed your posting regarding William Thurman Dickson. I am very curious about him as my Thurmans married into the Rutherford Co TN Dickson in the early 1800s. Most of the Thurman and Dickson connections surrounded the families of Enoch N. Dickson and James M. Thurman. Please contact me if you think your Wm Thurman Dickson may be connected. Do you know where the middle name of Thurman came from? Another family that was connected to these families was Davis.
