I have run across a Joseph Dickerson, died in Chesterfield County, VA. 1772. He left a will but I do not have it. I ran across an inventory signed by possibly his wife, Marget (sic) and Michael Wells (a son-in-law). I am searching for decendants of Joseph Dickerson and Elizabeth Wooldridge. I have considered possibly that maybe my Joseph is a son of Joseph and Marget(Margaret). Perhaps Joseph had a brother named Jesse? I have found that my Joseph's son, William, used the spelling Dickinson when he moved to Kanawha County, VA/WVA and I am having trouble finding info on his wife, Frankey Mays and their children.
