Are you sure his name was Willis? Could it perhaps been William.

I have a Chicago-based Cement Manufacturer named William who was born in 1848 at Hadley, Massachusetts. He would have lived until at least 1910. His brothers were John Woodbridge and Theodore G.

I will also check on him in my copy of "The Descendants of Nathaniel Dickinson."
