Joseph b: 23 Nov 1736, d: 19 Dec 1806, m: Lydia Brooks 3 Jul 1760. Marched from Haddam, CT in Lexington Alarm. Had a son Dan or Daniel.
Dan, my gggGrandfather. b: 8 Feb 1771. Had 2 wives: m1: Prudence Auger, m2: Rachel Stang/Strong. Rachel moved with Dan from Connecticut and settled near Niagara Falls. Their dau Marie m Sanford Wood. I assume they also had a son, my ggGrandfather, Charles D. Dickinson b: 28 Feb 1821, d: 1861. (Marie and Sanford moved to Michigan in 1828, and brought his/her parents, and their children: George 4yrs, Joseph 2yrs, & Deborah 6wks. Rachel's father & brother were in the Revolutionary War.)
Charles D. had a son Marcellus W. b: 1 Jan 1845 d: 16 Apr 1917, my gGrandfather. Marcellus was a member of the 15th Regiment Michigan Infantry, Company D (verified at users/aol.com/dharvey130/15compd.htm)1862 - 1865. m: Amanda J. Holt/Hatt 1871
Finally, Marcellus had a son Floyd b: 16 Apr 1874 who m: Mary Agnes Smith 19 Nov 1897 in Douglas County, Nebraska. Mary was born in Dundee, Scotland. They had three children: Lois, Marie Ardyce, & Laurence Marcellus.
I have information on the generations before Joseph, but I am unsure which are his parents. Appreciate any info, and confirmation of the above descendents. Thanks!
