Am looking for information on John Woodbridge Dickinson, born Hadley, MA 1853, died California, 1932. He lived in Chicago from about 1860 until 1909, and was a founder of the Marquette Cement Company of Oglesby, Illinois. He married Mary F.W. Wells in 1882; the couple never had any children. His brothers, whom he was in business with were named William and Theodore. In 1909, he moved to Scarsdale, NY, and resided there until his death (he was on vacation when he died). I live in the house he built; hence my interest in him.
My goal is to determine what brought him to Scarsdale, but would also appreciate any other information anyone out there might have.
