Can anyone help by advising me of any known links or resources I can follow on the following Dickinson family.
Robert William Dickinson (DOB England Unknown), Married Eliza Ann Gibbs (DOB England Unknown). 2 sons and 1 daughter,
Wilfred Aubrey Dickinson b 27 March 1895, Charlton Hawthorne, Somerset England d 17 July 1966, Salisbury, Rhodesia. Married Jemima Wilson 2 April 1923, Sherborne, Dorset, England d 24 September 1973, Rusape, Rhodesia. 1 Son, Paul Belford Robert Dickinson b 4 February 1924, Leamington-Spa, England, married Creina Alleyne Winn-Williams 10 July 1946, Cape Town, South Africa, then moved back to Rhodesia to farm.
Rowland W. Dickinson DOB England unknown, Married ?Anita Surname Unknown, Last known to be living in the Rotorua area of New Zealand. Believed to have had at least a son called ?Patrick, who served in Italy in WW2.
Dorothy Margaret Dickinson DOB unknown, died in England. Dorothy (aka Doll) was living in Budleigh-Salterton, England. No children.
Paul & Creina Dickinson are my parents, however it is frustrating that I can find no New Zealand Dickinson family members, in fact few Dickinsons overall. All I know is that Rowland Dickinson wrote a book on Fly Fishing in New Zealand, however our copy since lost. I have many Wilson and other family records from my grandmother Jemima Wilson's side.
Any help will be much appreciated.
