I am searching for the family of James P. DICKINSON born 1820 in Poughkeepsie, Dutchess County, New York according to his death ledger entry he was born across the river in Ulster County. he married Mary Elizabeth Rapelyea (Rapelje) 12/30/1841. James died 1/11/1882 in Poughkeepsie.
They had children:
Joseph Pardee Dickinson, b 1/5/1853, d. 6/18/1920, m Mary Cole Harrison 1877
Charles R. b 1856, d 3/1/1917 married before 1882 Anna E. Bingle, 2nd wife Caroline Betz
James E. b circa 1860 d 12/7/1923 married Katherine Lambert
Sara Elizabeth b? died 3/17/1851
Mary b circa 1854, d?, married Mr. Clifford og Albany
William B. b 1862 d 1/1926, married 12/24/1888 Laura M. Johnson of Highland, NY
