I’m looking for information about my ggg Grandfather and ggg grandmother, John Dickinson and Aurilla (?).
John Dickinson was b. 1805 in Vermont. Aurilla (?) was b. 1811 in (?). They were married in Westport, Essex, New York 1850 census. They had the following children, Thomas b.1831, Mary b.1832, Charles b.1835, Jane b.1838, Joseph b.1841, Clay b.1844, Ellen b.1849.
Clay N. Dickinson b.1844 in NY (spelled Dickenson in the 1880 US Census) d.1909 in Middlebury, VT, m. to Aurilla Gauyna b.1843 in ?, d.1909 in Middlebury, VT and had 2 children George E. Dickinson b.1870 and Bertha A. Dickinson b.1877 in Middlebury, VT.
George m Edith A. Chatterdon b1875 - d1895, they had 2 children, Cecile B. Dickinson b1893 – d1959 in Middlebury, VT and Clay A. Dickinson b1895 – d1980 in Jackson, NJ.
Cecile m Frederick Naylor and had 8 children in Middlebury VT.
Clay m Lillian Murphy b.1895 m.1918 d.1970 and had 2 children in Jersey City, NJ.
There is a cemetery in Middlebury, VT that Clay N., Aurilla, Edith and Cecile are in with other Chatterdon’s and Dickinson’s.
I have a picture of a man in a police uniform, which I believe is in the Middlebury PD.
