HENRY AND ROZAMOND DICKENSON (Dickason, Dickinson, Dickerson):
1. Henry Dickenson (Dickason) died in Louisa Co., VA. in 1798, Rozamond Dickenson (Dickason) was the executor of his estate. In a will he did not leave any land or major items, (which indicates that he did not own any land at his death.)
2. Rozamond Dickenson was born about 1753 and died on April tenth of 1816 (data from old Meade Bible) The spelling of Rozamond varied, i.e. Rosamond, Rosannah, etc.
3. Daughter Joannah Elizabeth Dickenson (b.3/19/1772) married Henry Meade on April 7, 1798. Her mother Rozamond Dickenson signed for her to be married. Also a George Dickenson went her bond. [This George was her brother]
4. George Dickenson married Martha Patsy Meade on 9/6/1804 in Louisa Co., VA. She being the daughter of Henry Meade, who was security and witness to the marriage.
4. George, Edmund, Lewis, Griffith Dickenson, all thought to be brothers, moved to Russell Co., VA. along the Copper Creek Area. All had families that grew up there. Indicating relationships.
5. Henry Meade and wife Joannah Dickenson also moved to Russell Co., Copper Creek area. Edmund Dickenson had an on going disagreements with the Meade families sons.
6. It is thought that this Henry Dickenson and wife, Rozamond, are the parents of Edmund, George, Lewis, Griffith Dickenson and Joannah Elizabeth Dickenson Meade. [Circumstances does indicate this fact.] All of the issues of these siblings have been identified.
7. They also lived along with the Dickensons from Henry Dickenson (the Russell county Court Clerk) family. THERE MUST BE A CONNECTION, but I have not found it, LOOKING FOR THE CONNECTION.
8. LOOKING FOR THIS HENRY DICKENSON AND ROZAMONDS PARENTS.
