Thanks for the info John. It doesn't sound like I have the parents of Zilly Dickinson correct, does it? First, you list no Zilly for William and Penelope's children. Second, I have heard, but have not proven, that Zilly's father, whom I believe was named William was killed in TN circa 1830. What I do know, according to census reports, is that Zilly Dickinson and Elisha Sanders were both born in NC. Zilly's maiden is definately Dickinson (or poss variant spelling), and her mother was Penny Dickinson. Penny Dickinson was also born in NC. I assume that Penny is a nickname for Penelope, but I could be wrong here.
This family lived in Rutherford Co, TN from about 1810-1839, and moved to Hempstead Co, AR. I know of no brothers and sisters of Zilly yet.
