Two sources to check: Marguerite S. Dickinson's "Descendants of Capt John Dickinson and Elizabeth Howland of Long Island NY" and Wesley Baker's "Dickinson/Dickerson Genealogy including descendants of Capt John Dickinson of Oyster Bay NY" 1983 edition. Although this branch of Dickinsons did leave Oyster Bay NY for NJ, they later returned to Westchester Co NY as Zebulon's children were born at New Castle township, Westchester Co I believe. I descend through Zebulon's son Zebediah b. 1750 and his son Henry Dickinson b. Feb 12 1778 Westchester Co NY. Henry married in Dutchess Co in 1800 to Eleanor (Ellen) Whitlow and they later removed to Greene Co.
