John Dickinson was born in 1602, 14, Dec. son of William Dickinsonne and Sarah Stacy.
He married 1st Mary Taylor and had two children both married and had children. He married Elizabeth Howland in 1651 in Duxbury/Plymouth, Mass.
I have all the Mayflower books and cds and 55 years of researching and getting the John Dickinson b 1624 and his wife Francis Foote and kids seperated from John Dickinson and Elizabeth Howland Hicks.
I even had to straighten out NEHGS, but then mistakes are never corrected.
There was a Charles way back when and again in the 1700's but nothing to do with John #1 (born 1602) He did have a couple of ggg and maybe another g grandsons. I know their are 2 of them.
John and Francis Foote were married in Ct. He is listed in the Billingborough, Lincolnshire parish birth register under his father Nathaniel and mother widow Ann Gull.
