I've done some research of my Dickinson lineage in Illinois. The first of my branch in Illinois was Daniel Griffith Dickinson, born 1839 in Licking County, Ohio and moved to Kansas, Illinois in 1884. He died in Kansas, Illinois in 1930. The Dickinson's centered in southeast Illinois (Tuscola area) until the early 1900's when they moved to Peoria (where I live now).
