My family hails from the Harrisburg area with my grandparents (Issac Birkett(IB) Dickinson and Mable Dickinson) moving there probably in the early 1900's from the Morristown, NJ area. I was born there although my Dad, William C. Dickinson, a Rep. in the PA legislature, moved back to the NJ area in the early 1940's. I now live in Alexandria VA. Any connections? There is still a bevy of Dickinson's in the Morristown, NJ area.

IB came to the US from Whitehaven/Carlise UK probably in the 1890's. He married into the Collins family of NJ.

Any connection?
