See also my post below dated 9/21/99.

The details are these: Thomas Dickinson m. Mary Crandel, 20 May 1748, at North Stonington.

"Charles," son of "Thomas" Dickinson, was baptized 18 August 1726, at St. Paul's Church, Narragansett, RI. However, I feel that the names got reversed----there was no Thomas Dickinson having children at that time in that area, while Charles Dickinson Jr. and his wife Ann were having children born and baptized there beginning in 1714.
Probably the records of Stonington and Westerly need to be searched better for further records of Thomas. I forget which town he appears in in the 1790 census---the spelling may be "Dixinson."
