CAPT. NOAH DICKINSON-Somers,CT (b1740s?)
Posted by: Liz Jones Date: September 18, 1998 at 20:26:44
  of 2894

Was an officer under Gen. Putnam in the French and Indian war, and was also an officer in the Revolutionary War. His daughter Submit Dickinson married Rev. David Dudley Field in 1803 (he was descended from Zachariah Field born 1596 in East Ardsley, England).

Looking for information on Noah's parents, wife and children.

(Note: there was also a Noah Dickinson from Amherst, MA who served in the Revolutionary War, but they appear to be two different men.)
