Anyone have any info on a Captain William James Dickei who was a ships captain during early 1700s sailing to Virginia colonies several times finally settling in western county of Virginia in 1742. Had brothers named Adam and Thomas Dickie. I am trying to find name of his ship and ancestry in Scotland.
He was my great x 4 grandfather.
