It is quite interesting about your Dickey-Kilpatrick connection. My g-g-g-grandfather had two daughters, Jane Alice Kilpatrick and Catherine Williams Kilpatrick who married into the Dickey family. Alice married George Whary Dickey, and Catherine married his brother John Bradey Dickey. Might these connect with your line?
