Hi Frankie,
Thanks for writing. Yes, I have Joseph Howards four Dickey books which include my Dickey line as complete as I had it at the time. I have wondered if the Rowan Co. N.C. Dickeys could be connected with mine and especially now that I realize Thomas Dickey had a son named William born 1783, the same year as my William.
Do you have more information on William Dickey b. 1783 (son of Thomas Dickey?)
Thomas Dickey's nephew, Hayes Dickey who married Margaret Morrow, (son of his brother James and Mary Hayes Dickey) was living in Mercer Co., Ky. at the same time as my William and I have long suspected they were kin. I am checking out any clue I find!
