I was born Phillip Dickey. My father and his family were born in Texas. His family can be traced back through OK, MO, KS, IA, PA, CT and MA to Peter Dickey, who served in the Revolutionary War in a CT unit. A married daughter stayed in CT while sons William and Walter served in the War of 1812 and moved to PA after the war. Other members stayed in PA when the family moved to Iowa, and so on until my immediate relatives moved to Texas. A book written in 1990 (I have a copy) traces the family tree of over 250 descendants and spouses of descendants. I am in the process of updating the book. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
