John Dickey d. 1771c in Rowan Co., NC. Family tradition has him born in N. Ireland. He married Mary (maiden name unknown). His children were: [1] William; [2] Elizabeth; [3] Joel; [4] John, Jr.; [5] Thomas; [6] James.
John Dickey's son, William Dickey may have been born in NJ. He died in Scott Co., IN in 1826. He married Martha Thornberry.
