Did you get your hint about NH from the census???? when I found Jason and also the father, Thomas in the census, they said their birthplace was "NC" . It looks like that, but I needed quite a number of opinions to come up with that supposition.

I have never understood, until I started looking up the censuses, "what a fine thing a PLAIN hand is". I am not sure what the NC really is. It could be NH.

Let me know your source. I kinda hope your info is from the census, and we can start doing tandem researching.
