I purchased in Ashland, OR the subject undated studio portrait of a young man taken by Adams, Terre Haute, IN. It is identified on the back of the mount:
"Cassius Dickey"
This individual appears in an online family tree. Cassius Ellsworth Dickey, born Jul 1861 in Harrison Township, Fayette Co., IN, died 1928 in Grant Co., IN, was the son of Hugh Ashby Dickey (1831-1912) and Harriet (maiden name unknown) (1838-1920). On 17 Oct 1888, in Grant Co., IN, Cassius married Ida J. Stucky/Stuckey, born Mar 1865, died 1953 in Grant Co., IN. The couple had three children.
