Attention: Betty Jo Stockton
William and Sarah Gabbert Dickey are my 2nd Great Grandparents and I have researched this family for about 20 years. As to proof that Matilda Dickey Gentry is their daughter - by the 1850 census when all the family members are listed on the census, Matilda was out of the home and married. I have a list compiled by my aunt which gives all the names of William and Sarah's children which she gave to me years ago. They had 13 children, and 12 survived to adulthood to have their own families.
