On the 1850 AL census there is an Owen Dickey household.

Pike County, AL 1850 page 168

Owen Dickey 54 M Farmer 900 GA
Clarisia 50 F GA
Nancy 16 F GA
Robert 14 M GA
Henry 11 M GA
Francis 9 F GA

In 1850 there were four Dickey households in Pike County, AL and all the head's of household were born in GA.
