Hi Brenda,
Would your Dickey tree include a Martha Dickey (probably married name) b.@ 1840 in Georgia, who married Spencer Tomlin Hassell in Anderson Co., Texas Oct. 1865? She was Spencer's second wife. She seems to have had a son, William by a previous marriage. On the 1880 Fed. Census of Anderson Co., Texas, there is a "William Dickey" age 19 living with her and Spencer Hassell.
