Dickeys of east texas
Melinda C. Dickey, born 1829 in Tenn. She married a man,
whose last name was Utz. Would like information on this
person. Also information on what happen to John P.T.Dickey
and his brother Matthew A.Dickey who both fought in the
Civil War. Matthew was sometime called Gus and John was
sometime called Tate. Both brothers enlisted in Houston
county Texas. Both brothers born in Georgia. Their father
and Melinda C.Dickey's father was James Madison Dickey
and their mother was Mary "Polly" Douglas.
