I don't know if you have seen this or not, but I think it is so sad.

John Dickey assumed his father's indebtedness (Thomas had been security for the sheriff of Rowan Co., NC & lost thereby). When John Dickey died Solomon Hall was to look after the affairs & pay off the remaining indebtedness -- also to errect tombstones but the tombstone of John Dickey remained under Hall's Home.
