I just found some info on this Matthew Dickey. Matthew died in 1802. His father was John, his mother, Margaret Reed. Matthew was married to Janet Wallace, who was born on 28 Jan 1733 in Londonderry, Rockingham Co, N.H. Janet died in 1808.
I was told that Matthew was my gr, gr grandfather, But just found out this is not possible. He has to be more great's than two. My grandmother's father's name was James William. James William married Bulah (sp) Ann Davis. (I was told James Wm.'s father was Matthew, but he isn't.)
Does anyone have any info on the father or James William?
My theory is that one of Matthew's four sons, IE: John, Lt. James, Ebenezer, & Samuel W.; is my gr grandfather, James Wm's, father.
I need help on this. Please email me direct, plus post it, if you have any info.
