Family tradition has always said my 2nd Gr. Grf. William F. Dickey came from Natural Bridge, Va. (Rockbridge Co.) to Ky. I went to Lexington in Rockbridge Co. last August - found a little book at the Rockbridge Historical Society there near Stonewall Jackson's home - interesting - "Guide to Published Material on the History and Genealogy of Rockbridge County, Virginia and Vicinity" pub. by Historical Society.

There is a Dickey section in Vol. 3 of a publication by William Curry Harlee. Reference mentions Samuel and Sophia Ann (Parker) Dickey and their descendants, etc. I would really like to see that book!
