I also have been curious about this couple. I saw their names on the internet regarding the
1845 wagon train to Oregon. My interest is: first, who was Henry's family. He was dead before Hannah and their daughter Mary Jane left with Hannah'snew husband for Oregon. But it seems they traveled to Oregon the same year as my family; Thomas Jeffreys and Mary(polly)(Dickerson) Jeffreys, and the Jeffreys children. The man Mary Jane Dickerson (Henry & Hannah's daughter) married was Abijah Hendricks. A man by that name witnessed my family's land claim in Oregon.
Second interest is the name Boyle. My Thomas Jeffreys' son, Solomon, married Mary L. Boyle. Mary L. Boyle's parents were James Whitten Boyle and Josephine Pauline Ford. Besides Mary L. Boyle they had another daughter: Hannah Boyle.
So...confusing...but that's why I'm interest in this couple. There are several names that intertwine with my family...I think somehow there is some relationship.
My Family came from VA, KY, and these folks were for a short while in Mo...having babies before they headed off to Oregon.
Let me know if you have anything to share on this couple. I have some information going back a ways on all the above surnames.
Thanks....Janice
