Hello! I am trying to find the parents of my GGG Grandfather, Caleb Dickerson. He would have been born somewhere around 1840 or 1850 and married about 1865 or 1870. His wife's name is Mattie Amanda Walker (I'm at a dead end with her, too!) I have two known children listed for them:
John Lee Dickerson was born 1 Aug 1870. He married Pearl Ann Beasley in Copiah Co., MS in 1892.
Clinton Dickerson was born somewhere around 1875. He married Mary Turnage, probably about 1900, also in Copiah Co., MS.
I don't know if Caleb and Mattie Amanda were born in Mississippi, but I am assuming that their boys were. Has anyone heard of this family? Thanks for your help!
